About the firm

A CPA firm built like the businesses it serves·

Lean, technology-driven, and personally accountable, with Big Four discipline and a boutique relationship.

Our story

Why this firm exists

Most business owners meet their accountant twice a year: once to hand over documents, once to learn what they owe. By then, every meaningful decision, entity structure, equipment timing, compensation, retirement contributions, has already happened. The tax return just records it.

Edgar Gomez spent the first chapter of his career inside a Big Four firm watching large companies do it differently: plan first, then execute, then file. Integris Accounting exists to bring that sequence to South Florida's contractors, carriers, distributors, medical practices, and entrepreneurs, businesses that are big enough to need real strategy but too often served like afterthoughts.

Today the firm pairs senior-level advice with a modern stack, QuickBooks Online, TaxDome, Keeper, ADP, so your numbers are current, your documents are secure, and your team keeps you informed before deadlines, not after notices.

Growth timeline

How the practice grew

Chapter 1

The foundation

Edgar builds his career in public accounting, including years inside a Big Four firm, auditing, structuring, and advising businesses many times the size of a typical South Florida company.

Chapter 2

The firm opens

E. Gomez CPA LLC is founded on a simple observation: small businesses deserve the same proactive, strategic accounting that large companies get, delivered by a team that picks up the phone.

Chapter 3

Going cloud-first

The firm standardizes on QuickBooks Online, TaxDome, Keeper, and ADP, replacing paper, email attachments, and year-end surprises with a secure portal and monthly rhythm.

Chapter 4

A new name

The practice becomes Integris Accounting. Same team, same clients, same standard of work, with a name built for the firm it has grown into.

Chapter 5

Today

A tri-county practice serving contractors, carriers, distributors, practices, and firms across Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach, with the same founding promise: year-round partnership.

Why choose us

What working with us feels like

Proactive tax planning

We plan before the year ends, not after it is too late to change anything. Strategy sessions happen all year, so April is a formality, not a surprise.

Year-round partnership

We are not a January-to-April shop. Your books, payroll, and planning get attention every month, and you can reach us in July as easily as in tax season.

A dedicated CPA relationship

You work directly with a small, senior team who know your business, not a rotating cast of preparers who meet you once a year.

Cloud accounting done right

QuickBooks Online, TaxDome, Keeper, and ADP, connected properly, so your numbers are current and your documents are secure and searchable.

A secure client portal

Every document, e-signature, and message lives in an encrypted TaxDome portal. No email attachments, no lost paperwork.

Personalized strategy

A roofing company, a medical practice, and a freight carrier should not get the same advice. Your plan is built on your industry, entity, and goals.

Fractional CFO firepower

When you need forecasting, KPIs, or a banker-ready financial package, you get CFO-level analysis without a CFO-level salary.

Transparent pricing

Fixed monthly engagements agreed in advance. No surprise hourly invoices for picking up the phone.
