Compiled Financial Statements
When the request says CPA-compiled statements, this is the engagement that answers it.
The request usually arrives inside a loan renewal or a bonding application: financial statements compiled by a CPA. Many owners have never needed one before and assume it means an audit, with the cost and disruption that implies. It does not. A compilation is the entry level of formal CPA reporting, and knowing that difference can save you significant money and weeks of unnecessary effort while still satisfying the party asking.
In a compilation engagement, Integris Accounting takes your financial data and presents it as formal financial statements accompanied by our compilation report. We do not express assurance on the numbers, which is what keeps the engagement efficient, but the statements must still be assembled in proper form by a licensed firm that knows what correct looks like. We handle these engagements routinely for South Florida contractors, distributors, and operators whose banks and sureties request them.
Who this is for
Compilations most often serve construction contractors meeting surety and licensing requirements, wholesale and distribution companies with bank covenants, transportation firms renewing credit facilities, and franchisees whose agreements demand annual CPA-prepared statements. Across Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach, it is the standard answer for any business told to provide CPA financial statements where no assurance level is specified.
Why clients choose this
- Lender and surety requirements met without over-buying
- Professional statements carrying a CPA firm's name
- Clear fixed scope and timeline
- A fraction of the cost of assurance engagements
- Repeatable annually with less lift each year

What you get
Formal statement presentation
Your data is organized into a proper balance sheet and income statement, with a cash flow statement and disclosures included when the engagement calls for them.
CPA compilation report
The statements carry our firm's signed report, the document that actually satisfies the third party who asked for compiled financials.
Requirement verification
Before engagement, we confirm with you exactly what the requesting party needs, so you never pay review-level fees for a compilation-level requirement.
Obvious-error correction
While compilations carry no assurance, professional standards still require us to address errors we become aware of, so glaring problems get fixed rather than published.
Full or omitted disclosures
Statements can be issued with complete note disclosures or without them where the standards and your reader permit, keeping scope matched to need.
Predictable turnaround
Because the scope is defined, we commit to a delivery date you can give your banker with confidence.

FAQ
Compilations, common questions
What is the difference between a compilation and a review?
A compilation presents your information in proper statement form with no assurance expressed. A review adds analytical procedures and inquiries, allowing the CPA to provide limited assurance, and costs correspondingly more. The right choice depends on what your lender or surety actually requires, which we confirm before you spend anything.
Will a compilation satisfy my bank?
Frequently, yes, especially for smaller credit facilities and routine renewals. Banks scale their requirements to exposure, and many explicitly accept compiled statements. We recommend asking your lender for the requirement in writing, and we are happy to interpret the language with you before engagement.
How long does a compilation take?
With reasonably organized records, most engagements finish within a few weeks of receiving complete information. Messy books extend that, because the statements cannot be assembled from unreliable data. If cleanup is needed first, we will scope it separately and honestly before starting the clock.
Do compiled statements include notes and disclosures?
They can be issued either way. Full disclosures make the statements more informative; management may elect to omit substantially all disclosures where standards permit, which shortens the engagement. The choice usually comes down to what the reader expects, and we will help you make it deliberately.
