Accounting & Tax Planning in Miami Lakes

A planned town with real business parks, and companies that outgrow their bookkeeper faster than they expect.

Miami Lakes was master-planned by the Graham family, and it shows: Main Street's shops and restaurants anchor the center while substantial business parks along the Palmetto and NW 154th Street host distributors, light manufacturers, medical companies and corporate offices. It's a town where a business can start in a flex bay and grow into a headquarters, Northwest Dade's quiet mid-market engine.

That mid-market zone is where Integris Accounting does some of its best work. Companies in the two-to-twenty-employee range often carry real financial complexity, inventory, payroll, multiple owners, bank covenants, without anyone senior watching the numbers. We fill that seat: monthly accounting, compiled or reviewed financial statements when banks require them, tax strategy across entities and owners, and fractional CFO guidance for the growth decisions.

The gap between a bookkeeper and a strategic CPA gets expensive precisely at the Miami Lakes stage of growth. Inventory methods start to matter, owner compensation needs structure, and a mispriced contract can quietly erase a quarter's profit. Year-round involvement means we catch those issues in month two, not at filing time, and your bankers, bonding agents and partners see statements they can trust.

Getting to our office from Miami Lakes

Hop on SR-826 (Palmetto Expressway) southbound from the NW 154th Street entrance and ride it about twelve miles to the Bird Road (SW 40th Street) exit. Head east on Bird Road roughly five miles, crossing Red Road into Coral Gables, then turn right on Ponce de Leon Blvd. The 4000 Ponce tower is just ahead on the left.

Our building's garage takes the parking question off your plate, meters wait outside for quick stops, and video conferencing covers everything in between.

By appointment only, our Coral Gables office isn't set up for walk-ins, so most Miami Lakes clients meet us by video.

We went from guessing at our margins to reviewing real numbers every month. Our banker noticed the difference before we told him.

FAQ

CPA services in Miami Lakes, common questions

Do you produce financial statements our bank will accept for a Miami Lakes company?

Yes, we prepare compilations and reviews that satisfy typical lender and bonding requirements. We'll confirm exactly what level of assurance your bank covenant calls for before you pay for more than you need, and we keep the underlying books solid year-round so statement season doesn't become an excavation project.

Our distribution business has inventory in two states. Can you handle multi-state filings?

We can. Physical inventory, remote employees and economic nexus rules can each create filing obligations beyond Florida. We map where your activities actually create nexus, register where required, and structure the compliance calendar so multi-state exposure is managed deliberately instead of discovered in an audit letter.

What does fractional CFO support look like for a Miami Lakes manufacturer?

Typically a monthly rhythm: we review margins by product line, update the cash-flow forecast, prepare numbers for your bank or investors and pressure-test big decisions, a new line, a lease, a key hire. You get CFO-level judgment for a few hours a month, which is usually all a mid-sized operation truly needs.

We have three owners and no buy-sell plan. Is that a tax problem?

It's several problems waiting to meet each other. Ownership changes without a plan trigger messy valuation, tax and control questions at the worst possible moments. We model the tax consequences of buyout structures, coordinate with your attorney on the agreement and make sure the entity's paperwork matches how profits actually flow.

Can you take over payroll from our current provider without disruption?

Yes, as an ADP partner we manage transitions routinely, timing the switch at a quarter boundary so filings stay clean. Your employees notice nothing except perhaps better answers to their questions. We also audit the old setup on the way in; misconfigured payroll is one of the most common problems new clients bring us.
