Monthly Accounting, Handled Year-Round

One recurring engagement that keeps your books current, your statements reliable, and your tax plan moving twelve months a year.

Most business owners in Miami run their companies off a bank balance and instinct. The books get touched once a year, usually in a scramble before a filing deadline, which means every hiring decision, equipment purchase, and price change gets made without real numbers behind it. By the time a problem shows up on a tax return, it has usually been compounding for months. That is not an accounting system. That is an annual cleanup with a logo on it.

Monthly accounting is the flagship service at Integris Accounting because it fixes the root issue: timing. Each month our team reconciles your accounts, closes your books, and delivers financial statements you can actually read, all through the TaxDome portal. Edgar Gomez brings 20-plus years of experience, including Big Four training, to the review of every file, and because we see your numbers all year, tax planning happens while there is still time to act on it.

Who this is for

This engagement fits established businesses across Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach counties that have outgrown once-a-year accounting: construction and trade contractors juggling job costs, transportation and logistics operators, wholesale distributors, medical and dental practices, and law firms. If revenue has grown but your visibility into margins and cash has not, monthly accounting is usually the right starting point with our firm.

What's included

What you get

Monthly close and reconciliation

Every bank, credit card, and loan account is reconciled on a set schedule, so your QuickBooks file matches reality and errors get caught within weeks, not at year-end.

Financial statement package

You receive a monthly balance sheet and profit and loss statement, reviewed by a CPA, with notes that flag anything unusual before it becomes a pattern.

Quarterly tax projections

We estimate your liability during the year, adjust your quarterly payments, and surface planning moves like Section 179 timing while the calendar still allows them.

CPA-level oversight

Your file is not parked with a data-entry service. A credentialed team reviews the close each month and stays personally involved in your relationship.

Secure client portal

Documents, requests, and deliverables all live in TaxDome, so nothing important sits in an email thread and you can find any report in seconds.

Fixed monthly pricing

You know your fee before the work starts. No hourly meters running while you ask questions, and no surprise invoice after a busy month.

How it works

The engagement, step by step

Step

Diagnostic review

We examine your current books, entity structure, and filings to understand where things stand and what needs attention first.

Step

Onboarding and cleanup

We bring your file current, standardize your chart of accounts, and set up the portal so the monthly rhythm starts from a clean base.

Step

Monthly close

Each month we reconcile, close, and deliver your statements on a predictable date, with a CPA review before anything reaches you.

Step

Quarterly strategy

We meet to walk through results, update tax projections, and plan the next quarter, so the numbers turn into decisions.

FAQ

Monthly Accounting, common questions

How is monthly accounting different from plain bookkeeping?

Bookkeeping records what happened. Monthly accounting adds a CPA-reviewed close, financial statements, quarterly tax projections, and standing strategy conversations. You get interpretation and planning layered on top of accurate records, from one team that also prepares your returns, so nothing falls between vendors.

We are behind on our books. Can we still start?

Yes, and it is one of the most common ways clients arrive. We scope a catch-up project first, bring prior months current, and then transition you into the monthly cycle. You will know the cleanup cost and timeline before we begin any work.

Do you replace our office manager or internal bookkeeper?

Not necessarily. Many clients keep someone in-house for invoicing and bill payment while we handle reconciliations, the monthly close, statements, and tax strategy. We are glad to define a division of duties that uses your existing staff well and adds review where it matters.

What software do you work in?

We build most engagements on QuickBooks Online, where we hold Platinum ProAdvisor status, supported by Keeper for the close and TaxDome for secure document exchange. If you are on another platform, we will evaluate whether to work within it or plan a migration.
